In virtue of my Office as the Ordinary of the Archdiocese of Mandalay, and based on the Vatican Rescript of 30 NOV 2020 (Port. N. 4046/20), I hereby declare that as of 6 JAN 2021 with the signing of acceptance of the Vatican Rescript by Fr. Gabriel Htun Myint, the Holy Father Pope Francis has granted him dispensation from all priestly obligations, including that of clerical celibacy.
